Thoroughly Competent and Professional
James arrived on time and was thoroughly competent and professional. Our older home had plumbing pipe issues under the sink, at the shower, and under a leaky utility sink. Removal of the bad old stuff was time-consuming but needed to be done, and James had the knowledge to replace everything with modern materials that will last. We’ll be able to use our new kitchen sink, our new shower, and our utility sink now, confident that they won’t leak. He also replaced an ancient hose bibb with a new one that meets code. We are new to Portland and searched online to find a reliable plumbing company. Legacy’s website felt ‘right’ and after today’s visit by James, we feel like we lucked out to find Legacy! Thank you, James and Legacy.

Legacy Plumbing was great. They sent out two different representatives, one to give me a free estimate and the next day to install my new faucet. Both Nolan and Adam were terrific, both very prompt and professional. While truthfully I'm not sure if they were the cheapest, the service was bar none excellent. Adam had to crawl under my house, not word one of complaint. He was, in a word, awesome! I would highly recommend their services.

We had a great experience with Legacy Plumbing repairing our main sewer pipe. Nick and Deegan had excellent communication throughout the entire process and kept us informed every step of the way. They spent two full days at our house making sure everything was taken care of properly and always let us know when they arrived to the house and what work would be done each day. You wouldn’t even know they came and repaired our main pipe because they cleaned up everything so well (including a portion of the neighbor’s yard in which they had to dig into the concrete). Their pricing was extremely fair, and they were genuinely kind, professional people to work with. We really appreciated their honesty, hard work, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Well, DJ took care of my toilet by unplugging it after I flushed pork stew down it with possibly some bones (I thought I’d removed them all). It worked fine for a day, but the next day it was plugged again (a Saturday). I called in to get him back again, so he showed up today. He removed the toilet to see what was wrong and was able to completely remove whatever was stuck at the top of the pipe. He said he was trying to call the office to ask them to not charge me for today’s service. There was no answer, so he told me he’d give me a credit for today’s visit. Don't know where to start. This company is awesome. They really did go above and beyond to do a great job. James and Adam did an outstanding job under the house and inside, plus a real bonus is they really loved our dogs, especially James. Inspection was 100%, no problem. Also, I can't forget the excavation crew of Deegan and Mikel. They did an outstanding job with pretty crappy weather, lots of rain and mud. Also, the inspector was impressed with the job. All in all, I know this review doesn't say enough about this company and its AWESOME employees: James, Adam, Deegan, Mikel, Nick. I've already referred them to friends, and I will again. Whoops, forgot to tell y'all this was a total repipe plus sewer line to the street. GREAT COMPANY, you won't be sorry.

James, a licensed plumber, was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient in his plumbing work. He was friendly and patient, answering all questions. He took care in removing my old sink, not damaging my tile countertop, and installed a new sink, garbage disposal, and faucet along with a change in plumbing as I went from a 2-basin sink to one. There was a very small leak that later presented at the P-trap after the service, and Legacy was prompt in re-sending James out to take care of the problem the next day. There was a mistake initially in sending out the right person with the needed skill set/license, which they corrected. Things don’t always go right, but I think that Legacy’s prompt response to correct problems is a reflection of integrity and what you look for in a company.
